Better known as Water Cremation, Alkaline Hydrolysis (AH) has been around for more than 100 years. Patented in 1888 by a British born chemist named Amos Herbert Hobsen. The process was originally developed as resolution for farmers to sterilize and recycle animal mortalities back to the environment. The effluent solution is completely sterile and made up of amino acids, salts, nutrients and sugars -the natural byproducts of decomposition.

Today..
Alkaline Hydrolysis machines are still in use. The modern machines have added convenience and speed by eliminating the need for third party pick up, as the animals can be processed immediately on site.
These machines can greatly benefit farms, ranches, zoos, wildlife & sea life organizations, and veterinary professionals. If you have a large animal, like a horse, that you want a private cremation for, this is the perfect way. Even counties and municipalities that would like to eliminate mortality into landfills, have a need for roadkill management, certain animal disease control, can all benefit from this environmentally friendly process.
